This was a look from our travel day to Seattle. It’s always so cold on the plane, so I wanted something that would keep me warm. I had picked up this wool coat from Ann Taylor back in the fall for work, and it came in handy during the entire trip. I actually wore it one day as more of a blazer during the work day to keep warm, inside the air-conditioned building.
I also really appreciated having a comfortable shoe during a day of traveling. There was a lot of walking between getting to the airport, making it to the hotel and then walking around the city. The other shoes I had packed for work were a lot less comfortable, even the flats.
I also want to point out this Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge lip and cheek color. During the winter, my skin has become so dry and flaky. I have been trying to avoid powder-like products as much as possible, so I am preferring this cream option to the standard powder blush. I like this one from Bobbi Brown because it comes in a perfect-for-travel sized compact with a mirror inside. I’ve been using a tinted moisturizer and adding this cream blush to my cheeks and lips for an easy look in under five minutes.
I’m planning to do a post on my winter daily beauty routine in the near future, so stay tuned for more of my favorite products.
How are your weeks going? And I’m looking for post inspiration, so please share your feedback in the comments below!
