What to Wear for a Maternity-Friendly Date Night

This midi dress and I are having a major love affair. When the weekend rolls around, there’s nothing I would rather wear than a comfortable cotton dress, and I’m so grateful that this one can make me feel cozy but not sloppy. As we prepare for our new addition, Arnie and I are still making it a point to get some one-on-one time together, which usually means a weekend dinner or coffee date.

Since I’m doing everything I can to stretch my existing wardrobe and hold off on purchasing maternity wear, I’ve been relying on accessories to change up my favorite go-to’s. This faux leather jacket has been one of those fall favorites for mixing up my cotton go-to’s. The style runs on the smaller side, which makes it a great option for petites. Though the sleeves are a little long, they are cut slim and the jacket is cinched at the waist, which helps to avoid looking any wider than this belly already is!

I’m sure this won’t be the last time you guys see this dress–it definitely won’t be the last time I wear it this year!
