Weekend Mornings in New York Sweatshirt & Jeans

One of my favorite traditions with Arnie is our weekend morning walks to grab coffee. If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I’m often raving about different coffee shops around the city. Though I know it’s such a millennial thing to do, trying new coffee shops is something I never tire of. I don’t think I could pick a favorite in Pittsburgh – they all have their own niches that make them cool – but I do frequent Tazza D’Oro this most.

Most weekends, Arnie and I make it a point to walk up to Tazza D’Oro for our morning coffee. Sometimes we sit and enjoy one of their desserts, other times we get our coffee and then grab something sweet from Food Glorious Food (another personal favorite). In either case, this start to the morning always puts me in a good mood (we’re both those people who can’t start their day unless they’ve had coffee), and I’m always thankful for the uninterrupted time with my husband.

Usually, on these mornings, it’s unlikely that I’ve taken the time to put makeup on, let alone put together a cute outfit. Instead, I’m wearing something casual, like these Madewell jeans (which you’ve probably seen no less than 10398390 times on here), and my go-to Converse sneakers. My hair is probably unwashed from the day before, and I’m wearing my glasses because it’s too early for contacts. These are my most undone mornings of the week, just simple and casual.

I’ve linked all of my outfit details for you below; this sweatshirt being one of the most comfortable in my wardrobe. I’m wearing it on endless repeat this fall. I’m wearing the XXS, but if you want it to fit oversized, then I would size up.

How do you spend your weekend mornings?
