Those of you who know me are aware that I live for Christmas. Christmas music was playing by November 1, our apartment was decorated by mid-November, and I’m knee deep in Christmas shopping. When the holidays roll around, it’s nice to have a few “special” outfits you can pull out for parties and visits that are a bit more fun than your typical office attire.

I wore this A-line sweater dress to work and an event a few weeks back and received many compliments. On the model, it falls mid thigh, but as someone with a petite frame, the length hits just above the knee. The longer length makes it appropriate for work and other conservative events.

The sweater fabric is ideal for air conditioned office environments; it’s very heavy and warm.  It takes on a classic feel when paired with tights, ankle boots, and a red lip. In today’s post, though, I’m just letting the dress speak for its fun little self.

Enjoy! :)
