I’ve mentioned a few times that the color palette for my summer capsule wardrobe came together quite easily. Once I picked my favorites, it was already fairly evident what my primary colors–the basis of my capsule–would be. From there, it was very easy to add and subtract pieces until I had a cohesive selection from which to create outfits.
If you are familiar with the basics of color palettes, then you can easily see that I have chosen mainly analogous colors (colors that are next to one another on the color wheel) and my primary colors are neutrals (white, beige and grey).
Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing a few outfits from my summer capsule as the season draws to an end. Having created this capsule has been one of the most fun projects I’ve ever worked on. It’s alleviated the stress of getting ready in the mornings, and provided me with more time [and money] to focus on the things that truly bring me joy and fulfillment.
For those of you that have also done some closet cleaning, or even created capsules of your own, you rock! I’m so excited that you’ve been inspired to try this out, and you’ve inspired me to continue sharing what I’ve learned about the process, so thank you!
