How to Style A Tied Shirt

One trend that I’ve completely embraced is that of knotted and tied blouses. For petite women, this is a simple way to quickly transform an oversized top or blouse to fit your figure.

This little trick adds a flirty touch to weekend outfits that I thoroughly adore. In today’s look, I’m taking that feminine vibe to the next level by layering this tie blouse with a pale pink lip to match my suede, ankle-wrap heels (which I’ve truly been wearing repeatedly), my favorite pair of white scallop shorts, a pair of on-trend round sunglasses, and my favorite new earrings which were a bridesmaid gift from my sweet [new] sister-in-law, Meg!

This is one of my favorite looks to date. It’s a sweet twist on a classic, with subtle details to make it current, yet nothing so dramatic that I can’t wear these same pieces ten years from now.

You can see other ways I’ve worn a tied top in the below posts:

  • Cropped with denim shorts here
  • In a fun print with white jeans and bold handbag here
  • With a pair of heeled wedges and shorts here

And, of course, for any of the pieces in today’s look, you can scroll down to shop them below!
