Spring Beauty Product Reviews

Now that winter is on it’s way out, it’s time to adjust our beauty regimens to welcome spring!

Back in February I attended a workshop, hosted by The Blog Societies, where we received some pretty great swag bags. Since then, I’ve been trying out the products and wanted to share with you a couple of my new favorites for spring.

Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque

My skin really loves this mask. First of all, you only need to wear it for 5 minutes before rinsing so it’s quick and easy to incorporate into your usual beauty regimen. It’s almost a jelly-like consistency, and I usually apply a generous layer. You’ll immediately feel a cooling sensation making your skin feel instantly refreshed.  I find it’s hydrating effect to be really beneficial for combating the dry air through winter, and now during early spring. I use this one or two times a week when I feel in need of a refresh.

Aerie REAL Eau de Parfum

This perfume might just be my new favorite. It’s what I would call a light, fresh, and clean scent. I spray it in my hair and wrists each morning. Throughout the day, I’ll get a trace of the scent as I move my arms or hands, and I just find it so soft and feminine. I find the soft floral to be really nice for spring, without being overpowering. I will absolutely purchase this fragrance once I finish the bottle! I might even stock up just because I love it so much.

L’Occitane Velvet Hand Cream

I don’t know how I would have gotten through the winter without this rich hand cream. The cold weather really takes a toll on my hands, and it’s not unusual for me to look down and see dry, cracked knuckles. But, since now we’re transitioning into spring, my legs are looking so dry and ashy after being hidden away all winter. I’ve been sneaking some of this hand cream onto my legs to give them some extra moisture. This is another really great soft scent. It’s not overpowering and smells very clean and sweet. The floral hints are noticeable but not overpowering.
