Peplum Chambray + White Denim to Transition into Fall

There are few combinations so complementary as chambray and white denim. This vertatile pairing is perfect for casual outings, and can be dressed up or down with the right accessories.

During my trip to Chicago, my goal was to pack outfits that could be professional enough for meetings with brands, but comfortable enough to wear exploring the city.

These J Brand raw-hem jeans are one of the best pairs of jeans I’ve ever owned, both because they are comfortable and also because they are so flattering. The level of distressing is just enough without being too crazy, and the stretch is not at all restricting (which is great because I love to eat).

I picked up this chambray blouse during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I like that it’s a classic piece with a feminine touch–exactly the type of piece I look for when adding to my wardrobe.

This entire look could easily be worn with ankle boots and a leather jacket, come fall, but for now it looks adorable with embellished sandals for weekends, or block heeled sandals for low-key evenings out.

The entire look is highly versatile, so you can expect to see these pieces over and over in blog posts to come!

Have a great Wednesday; thank you for stopping in!
