Packing Light: The Ultimate Week Long Business Trip Packing List

After my work trip to Seattle a few weeks ago, I was inspired do a post on a week long business trip packing list. It can seem intimidating to pack for a long trip, but remembering a few key points can be a big help.

The main things to keep in mind when coming up with your business trip packing list are packing (1) items within a like color palette, and (2) versatile pieces.

A Complete Week Long Business Trip Packing List:

The business trip packing list I’ve put together is pretty close to what I actually packed, and it worked out really well. Items like a simple white blouse and a plain black turtleneck will easily pair with both dress pants and jeans, and a similar color palette will allow for lots of mixing and matching. Also, especially when packing for a work setting, I find it easiest to use black as the basis for all outfits; it will look the most professional. You’ll be amazed at how many options you can get out of so few pieces! I didn’t include them on here but I also chose a pair of slip on sneakers and an oversized sweater for the plane. For a long ride, I just wanted to be comfortable.
