One Skirt, Two Ways for Valentine’s Day – ft. The Femhem

Even more than Christmas, Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday when it comes to choosing outfits. This year, I’m teaming up with my sweet friend, Catie, blogger behind the Femhem, to bring you two holiday-inspired looks featuring the most twirl-friendly party skirt.

I purchased this skirt a few years back from ASOS, but found this great alternative for less than $100, and another one here and here. I’ve styled it so many ways, and always feel feminine yet powerful wearing this bold color. It’s the perfect companion for the holiday of love, no matter your plans.

I paired it with this lip-embroidered sweater, which I fell in love with the moment I laid eyes on it. Staying true to my style, and keeping things classic, I layered the sweater over a simple button-up shirt and my favorite patent leather pumps. Scroll through to see all of the details from this Valentine’s Day inspired look, AND to find out how Catie styled this skirt her way!

I love the way Catie has made this skirt totally her own. She effortlessly mixes classic pieces with trendier items, and edgy leathers with feminine florals, a talent I’ve always admired in her style. Visit her page and check out more of her amazing outfits.
