The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially opened to the public last week, so today I wanted to share some of my own favorite #nsale purchases. Fall is a lot of fun for fashion-forward girls, so this is such a great time to get deals on some of the newest trends.
I try to be strategic in my purchases, thinking back to pieces I wished I had last fall and winter. And, for every item I consider purchasing, I try to think of how well it will integrate into my current wardrobe–or if it just seems totally off-the-wall. I did well this year in deciding on pieces that will easily work with my current wardrobe; you can read more on two of my favorite#nsale finds below!
Last year I [sadly] grew out of a pair of maroon corduroys that I really loved. In the fall and winter, wearing the same blue denim jeans starts to feel stale for me, which is what I liked so much about those corduroys. This year, I wanted to add some colored denim that I could use to alternate with my usual blue denim for casual weekend outfits. Plus, we are finally able to wear denim to the office on Fridays, so I’m all about collecting wear-to-work jeans!
I’ve never owned or tried a pair of Paige denim, and I was impressed with the comfortability and overall fit. They look like denim but are as soft and easy to move in as a pair of leggings. You could lounge all day in these; they just extremely comfortable.
This sweater was one of the first pieces that caught my eye for fall, but it sadly has sold out already. I have a feeling it’ll be back once the sale pricing ends, but there are a few alternatives still available that are just as good
(check out here, here and here). The sleeveless sweater is a great transitional piece for getting you from cooler summer days into the fall season. They look great with jeans, belted over pencil skirts, and even with dresses. I see this being a really versatile piece for fall this year.
Have you guys been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary sale? If so, what are your favorite pieces? I’d love to hear what you guys are picking out, too. And, you can always share with #nsale on social media.
Have a wonderful week, everyone. Stop by again soon!
