Layering Necklaces

DSC_0344(2)DSC_0335(2)DSC_0341(2)DSC_0331(2) Blazer: J.Crew Factory (wearing 00), Tee: J.Crew Factory, Pants: GAP (wearing a 25p) (similar version-on sale!), Shoes: DSW, ‘Mrs’ Necklace: Kate Spade New York, Bar Necklace: Rosewood Shop c/o, Watch: Marc Jacobs (rose gold version here), Bracelet: J.Crew Factory, Lips: MAC in Half ‘n Half

This is hands down my go-to look (see here and here). The combination is not new, exciting or overly trendy, but that’s what I like about it. It’s simple, it’s classic, and it always looks put together. What makes this look on-trend is the dainty layered necklaces and the chunky gold accessories. My ‘Mrs’ necklace, a wedding gift from Arnie, is on constant rotation, and this gold bar necklace from Rosewood Shop complements it perfectly. What I like most about the bar necklace is that it is three dimensional. Two sides are glittered while the other two are plain. As you turn, the necklace moves with you and all sides are pretty.
