J.Crew Ruffle-neck Top in Ponte

Today I am sharing one of my outfits from work earlier this week. Remember when I told you I cleaned out my sister’s closet? The biggest perk of doing so was inheriting a few hand-me-downs. Among them was this striped skirt, a great match for my J.Crew Ruffle-neck top in ponte.classic fashion blogger wellesley and kingclassic fashion blogger wellesley and kingstriped pencil skirt wellesley and king fashion blogger classic fashion blogger wellesley and kingkate spade pumps wellesley & king fashion blogger

These Kate Spade pumps have been my very favorites since I first got them three years ago. I wear them nearly every day for work, and I cannot believe how well they have held up, considering the miles I’ve put on them. A classic nude pump like this never expires. Find a pair in a color close to your own skin tone and it will elongate your legs.

Ruffles and a bow?! Yeah, I was pretty much sold on this one in all of 30 seconds.

That’s all I’ve got for today, friends. Arnie and I started binge watching Stranger Things last night (we really couldn’t stop once we started). Are any of you guys watching? It’s pretty addicting. We both enjoy getting lost in good television shows, so right now it’s that and The Night Of–which we’ll catch again on Sunday. Oh, and there’s also this little thing happening called the Olympics. Have you guys seen the synchronized diving!? Talk about amazing! These athletes are incredible; it’s so cool to watch.

Anyway, whatever you guys do, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for reading today’s post.

Love your top I’ve been eyeing this – was it long enough to stay tucked in? I’m debating whether my torso is too long for the top! Just found your blog and glad I did! Going to check out your other posts!!!

I’m so glad you found and like my blog! If you have any other questions, just let me know. I’m happy to help.

This top would easily tuck in on me. I think it would be a great match for a pencil skirt that sits at the waist. I would say as long as you are tucking in at the waist, you should be okay. It’s hip length, and I’m wearing petite sizing so, in regular sizing, it should work for a longer torso.

      Hope that helps!
