Have you ever put on an outfit, only to look in the mirror and find ugly dimples on each of your shoulders? The solution to this pesky problem is simply a matter of using the appropriate hanger.

Standard hangers usually run between 17″ and 18″ wide, which means that petite clothing will stretch when hung, inevitably causing long term damage to your garments. Instead, look for hangers that are specifically made in petite or junior sizes. I purchased a bundle of junior sized hangers from Only Hangers. The juniors size hanger is 14″ wide (pictured at right below) and allows my petite size clothing to hang appropriately and eliminates the improper stretching and pulling caused by the standard 18″ hanger (pictured at left).
