High Waisted Bikini Under $30

Usually, my summers don’t consist of a ton of beach time, so I’m all for affordable (but still cute) when it comes bathing suits. I’m not willing to spend a ton of money on swimwear, knowing that I’ll be lucky to get a week or two of wears out of them. On the other hand, it’s been four years since I’ve been to the beach, so when I pulled out some of my old bikinis (ones I’ve had since college), I figured it was due time to find a few more age-appropriate suits.

Target and Old Navy are two of my go-to’s for budget-friendly options. I tried a few different mix-and-match pieces at Target before settling on this simple striped top, and hoped for the best when I ordered this high-waisted bottom from Old Navy. I’m wearing a size Small in the bottom, and I’ll admit it does some awkward gaping at the rib area. I chalked that one up to being so short-waisted. On someone with a longer torso, this bottom would probably not gap as much near the waist.

This was the first day of our week, and I was easing myself into wearing bathing suits in public (not just when laying out on my porch :)), so the full coverage bottom was a welcomed change from my old string versions. I’ll share a few of my other favorites here soon.

Hope your weeks are going well; we’re halfway there!
