I don’t know about you all, but the Fourth of July absolutely snuck up on me this year. In fact, I’m pretty sure it was just removed from the calendar–at least the first three weeks of it.
With the Fourth of July upon us, I felt it was my blogger duty to share a look inspired by the holiday, though, as I was joking with some of my friends at work yesterday, I can’t say that I’ll actually be wearing this outfit for the day off. In fact, I hope to be soaking up the sun in one way or another, ultimately doing nothing but enjoying a day of relaxation.
That said, independence day or not, I love a bold red lip to complement an otherwise neutral outfit. I pulled these cognac heeled sandals out from last summer (originally from Banana Republic) and used a matching belt to cinch this oversized dress shirt and create a peplum-like waistline.
I’ve also been extremely happy with this pair of white distressed denim jeans. The fit is both comfortable and flattering, and I have yet to see them significantly stretch out. I’ve linked these, along with some similar options down below for you to shop.
And definitely stop back on Friday for a men’s edition of a Fourth of July inspired look!
