The Most Flattering Fall Palette

There’s something so flattering about a fall palette containing rich jewel tones, like berry and navy. Other fall colors, like shades of yellow and orange are much harder to wear for many people. If you’re really fair skinned, or have yellow skin tones, those colors can make you look washed out. Rich, dark tones look equally flattering on those with darker skin tones, and also those with lighter skin.

Matching a rich berry lip color pulls the entire look together. With this outfit, I’m wearing MAC lipstick in Diva, before which I always prep with the MAC Prep + Prime Lip to smooth out any cracks and dryness.

This deep maroon is a color I reach for often–either for my outfits, or on my lips and nails–so you’re likely to see a lot more of it before the season is over!
