Finding the Perfect Holiday Wreath with Pisarcik Farms

Gift-giving season is now in full swing, and today I wanted to share a very special gift idea from one of my absolute favorite local businesses.

Fresh holiday wreaths are a stunning addition to your holiday decor, and make a heartfelt gift for any flower and decor lover in your life. The warm scent alone is a reminder of the season, and adorning your front door is a welcome hello to your holiday guests. Starting at $40, these wreaths are a great gift-giving price point.

Pisarcik Farms has been a local favorite of mine since I attended a workshop hosted by them at West Elm a few years ago. Since then, I thoroughly enjoy finding them at local farmers markets and events throughout the city. Their arrangements are always beautiful, no matter the season.  Last weekend, the girls were kind enough to let me stop by their beautiful design studio, so today I’m sharing a glimpse inside this fabulous local gem. Scroll down for more from the girls themselves, as well as how you can get your own fresh holiday wreath.

From the Farm Girls:

We are a small family run flower farm. We specialize in heirloom variety flowers, weddings and events, DIY buckets of flowers, workshops and wholesale. You can find us at various markets  in the pittsburgh area from spring till late fall. http://pisarcikgreenhouses.com/markets.html as well as the Neighborhood Flea!

We offer several workshops at our studio for the holidays including how to build wreaths and centerpieces. We grow various evergreens including White Pine, Frasier Fir, Yew, Juniper, and Cedar as well as Holly and Privit Berry. These are all nice long lasting evergreen varieties that will hold up well throughout the Holiday season. We harvest evergreen on a weekly basis so all the wreaths and centerpieces we sell are as fresh as possible!
