The Fall Accessory I Can’t Live Without + One for YOU!

You’ve seen me wearing this accessory a dozen times on Wellesley & King, and for good reason. In my opinion, this one little touch can be the dotted “i” or crossed “t” when it comes to styling your outfit.

Scrolling through the images below, it’s easy to see that my go-to fall accessory is a wool fedora. I like the way they take each of the looks below from something simple and basic to effortlessly chic in a matter of seconds. I have two: one light and one dark. I often rotate between the two when styling my fall looks. This truly is my favorite accessory for the fall months, and below are just a few reasons why…

  • They’re the easiest way to camouflage undone hair when you’re in a rush.
  • They take your outfit from everyday simple to chic and on-trend in under a minute.
  • And (of course, for practical reasons) they protect your skin from the sun to keep you wrinkle-free.

Because I really do love this accessory–and mostly because you guys have been so awesome and supportive on Wellesley & King–I wanted to give one lucky reader their own wool fedora to rock this fall! Scroll down to enter!

First of all, I want to thank you for following along with Wellesley & King throughout the years. I really am so appreciative of all of your comments, thoughts, and kind words. You guys are the reason this little space on the internet exists, and I’m so grateful for you.

The winner of this giveaway will receive their own wool fedora, and the best part? This hat is adjustable (whaaat?!); it has an elastic band inside that allows you to custom fit it to your head. If you have a child’s head like I do, you know that this is BIG!

Giveaway starts today and ends next Friday (Sept 22). Good luck!

I would like to see a post about the best fall and winter jackets and how to style them with your work attire. You have so many great dressy winter jackets in your posts. Maybe add your favorite jackets and the colors and styles of jackets that go with the most outfits. I like to keep my woredrobe small so having 10 jackets isn’t for me, I need a jacket suggestion that will work with many outfits and that is on the lightweight side. Winter doesn’t really happen when you live in the southwest. It’s still in the 100s and I have many more months to think about “fall” clothes.

I would love to see how to style warm layers without appearing too bulky.
