To me, one of the most important aspects of building an intentional wardrobe is buying pieces that can be styled in a multitude of ways. For this very reason, you’ll often see me restyling favorite pieces in new ways–which brings us to today’s look.
I previously styled this pleated faux leather skirt here, here (actually one of my all-time favorite looks) and here. I love that [faux] leather can be office-appropriate, and I often wear this skirt to work. Today’s outfit is one that I wore just a few days ago. I liked the combination of the dusty pink, soft and feminine blouse paired with the edgier vibe on the leather mini skirt.
As an aside, I am wearing the petite version of this skirt (size 00). I had originally tried the regular sizing in store; the added length is nice even on petite frames if you prefer a more conservative length. For me, though, even the petite sizing was long enough and looked more flattering overall.
We have had such beautiful weather this week; I can barely believe it. It was over 70 degrees the day I wore this look–in November. I hope that is a sign of what’s to come this winter!
Anyway, the weekend is forecasted to be just as beautiful. I’ll be taking my Christmas family portraits on Saturday, and just about anything holiday-related gets me all sorts of giddy, which means I’m really excited for the weekend. I may or may not have started listening to Christmas music already…
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. Thank you so much for stopping by to read!
