The Peak of Fall

What a perfect weekend! I wish it didn’t go by so quickly.  I adore fall, every part of it: the food, the clothes, the weather.  I would happily take this season all year round, especially when the days are as beautiful as they were this weekend.

Arnie and I attended our last wedding of the year (that makes for a total of six… a light year, in comparison, really). The day was beautiful, and it is always great to catch up with old friends.

There’s something about being home, surrounded by family and friends, that is always so comforting. Life can come at you fast at different times, and last week was certainly one of those weeks. Everyday it felt as though I was just barely keeping my head above the water, so going home for the weekend was a nice way to unwind and slow down.

I’ll be sharing some pictures of our family trip to the Pumpkin Patch over on the photography page later this week, so stay tuned.

I hope you all had wonderful weekends as well, and thank you so much for stopping to read. Enjoy your Monday!
