This Black A-Line Midi Skirt was my first ever purchase from Chicwish. After seeing many bloggers try the brand, it seemed a reliable enough company and, with free shipping, I figured I would give it a go. I’m usually hesitant about international orders, mostly due to the length of time it takes to receive and (if necessary) return the items.

This skirt rings up just under $30. I had been looking for a black midi skirt and since it was my first purchase, I thought it best to go with something relatively inexpensive. My first impressions of the company:

(1) The shipping does take a little while (just about two weeks) due to its location.
(2) Sizing runs small, as I’ve read that most Asian lines do, which works well for petites.
(3) The customer service was outstanding. The first item I received had a tear in the fabric. I emailed as soon as I received the item, heard back within ten minutes, and had a replacement shipped out next day.
(4) Pricing is affordable.

This skirt was unlined, which I wasn’t necessarily expecting. It definitely required some careful ironing; there were several creases as a result of the packaging. It was a little more full than I was expecting, but I’m okay with it overall.

All things considered, I think Chicwish is a nice option for feminine items like full skirts and dresses. The smaller sizing comes in handy for petites, and the pricing is affordable for the quality. Based on this experience, I would purchase from Chicwish again.

Have any of you tried this brand and if so, what are your thoughts?

  • With these below freezing temps, the heat in our apartment can’t keep up. That meant we all had to do some serious snuggling last night. Josie didn’t seem to mind one bit though 🤱🏻 She is a magnet to snuggles.

What are you guys going to stay warm during the polar vortex? I can’t wear enough layers! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Speaking of, I linked this down parka on my Poshmark. After our little one arrived, it became even more important to make room for only the essentials—which meant having only one parka (against my will). Great color and quality, per usual, from @eddiebauer for anyone in need! I linked my whole closet in my bio and on the blog to see more!
