Last weekend I had the opportunity to participate (as both a model and then a photographer) in the Worldwide Photo Walk with a group of professional and amateur photographers as part of the #CapturedPGH walkers. It was a wonderful morning for many reasons.
First, it’s always great to spend time with the other local bloggers. We have a ton of fun together, and the days always come with a lot of laughs. These girls are the only people in my life who understand the craziness of blogging and how much goes into it! We never tire of things to talk about.
The photographers and organizers were also incredibly fun to work with. Everyone was so sweet and really creative with getting the right shot. I love photography as much as I love blogging, if not more (it’s the whole reason I even started blogging), so being able to connect with and learn from local photographers was a really great opportunity.
The walk took place on Saturday morning in the Shadyside neighborhood, so the photographers began sharing their photos on Sunday. More and more of them kept popping up on social media throughout the day on Sunday, and it was really cool to see what they had come up with.
If you haven’t already, search #CapturedPGH on instagram to see some of their work!
I’ve linked my own photos from the day below, and tagged some of my own favorites as a model (along with all of my outfit details).
Happy Friday everyone!
My other photos are linked over on my photography page here.
This is a group shot of all of the bloggers who started out at the first stop of the walk. We had a great time together, and I love that it shows from this candid.
