Cape for Fall

During the Modcloth IRL pop-up shop that was in Pittsburgh a few weeks ago, I was able to try on a few pieces from their fall line, including this tweed fall cape. I fell in love instantly.

I’ve already worn it with my favorite black pencil dress for work, and I think it’ll work just as well over a fitted turtleneck and A-line skirt. In my opinion, capes are very feminine. I like the way they pair with dresses and skirts and, because of all of that volume, they work especially well with bottoms that are fitted (whether that means a skirt, dress, or pants). With boots and tights, a cape will look like the epitome of fall. I plan to re-style this several times. I’ll be sure to share when I do!

I’ve linked all of my outfit pieces for you to shop below. Happy Wednesday!
