Maternity Holiday Dresses:
This holiday season, I’ll be attending not one, but two, winter weddings. Since I’m so close to the end of my pregnancy, the last thing I want to do is invest a ton of money in, of all things, cocktails dresses. I know I won’t have much need for them post-baby since it’ll be the middle of winter, which is why I was thrilled to find this affordable LBD. I plan to re-purpose it for both weddings, changing out the accessories to make it just different enough for each event.
(Side note: ankle swelling has become very real these last few weeks, so here’s hoping I can actually manage heels!)
As you may know, I’ve kept my maternity wardrobe pretty simple. Instead of investing in an entire wardrobe of maternity wear, I’ve focused on purchasing pieces that will work post-baby, such as duster cardigans, tunics, and poncho-style sweaters. This is just my personal preference since I know this phase of life is relatively temporary. (Additional side note: I’m so ready to wear my old favorites again!)
If you’re also pregnant, I highly recommend ASOS for their affordable maternity options. There are a ton of dresses under $50, and all of them are super stylish–perfect for moms-to-be who still want to embrace their sense of style. I’ve linked my favorite maternity holiday dresses for you guys below. If you’re also pregnant, I’d love to know where you’re finding affordable maternity wear.
