It’s hard to resist a holiday dedicated to wearing pink, devouring chocolate, and bouquets of flowers so, with Valentine’s Day in mind, I wanted to share a look inspired by this lovely holiday.
Instead of your usual fit and flare or bodycon dress, I wanted to style something a bit more ladylike. Mixing the deep burgundy of the classic pencil skirt with the dusty pink of this flirty, low back top creates a feminine look for a fancy dinner or perhaps a night at the theater. And just for some spice, I threw in my favorite animal print clutch.
I kept my makeup soft to complement the delicateness of the outfit, wearing different hues of pink on the cheeks, lips and eyelids. A bright pink cheek, pale pink lip and eye shadows in beige, mauve, and chocolate on the lids create a natural finish to this girly ensemble.
How are you guys celebrating Valentine’s Day this year?
