Styling cute fall outfits while pregnant is currently my top search on Pinterest. When your body is changing so rapidly, it’s easy to feel like sticking to only leggings and long t-shirts, but I’m trying to find things that look a bit more put together.

I’ve found that poncho style sweaters have been incredibly helpful in allowing me and this growing belly to feel comfortable, while also letting me enjoy some semblance of fall fashion. (I must admit that I’m dying to wear so many of the adorable plaid mini skirts and fitted sweaters, but my wallet is okay with the fact that I can’t right now.)

I styled this cute maternity fall outfit by incorporating this new poncho sweater with all of my old favorites. (If you remember from this post, I’m doing my best to extend my existing wardrobe throughout my pregnancy for as long as I can.) I wore a similar sweater in this post, but it was the turtleneck version and has more of an asymmetric hem, compared to the high-low version in this sweater.

Recreate my Cute Maternity Fall Outfit:

Poncho sweater. Pregnant or not, a poncho sweater like this one is super comfortable and incredibly cozy for fall days.

Skinny Jeans. When wearing a shirt with as much volume as a poncho, stick to something fitted on the bottom: skinny jeans, legging-style pants, a fitted mini skirt and tights would all do the trick. Side note: these are my favorite Madewell skinny jeans (non-maternity). I’m wearing them here with a belly band.

Classic leather booties. I love when I can find a pair of completely timeless boots. Because boots are such an investment piece, I wanted to find a pair with very little detailing, in a classic silhouette, and a versatile color. Sézane nailed it with this pair; I couldn’t be happier with them.

Accessories. Some items that I can continue to utilize from my pre-pregnancy wardrobe are my accessories. Incorporating my favorite pieces, like my cognac handbag, oversized sunglasses, hoop earrings and boyfriend watchallow me to feel like myself despite not being able to wear many of my fall wardrobe loves.

I linked all of the pieces from my outfit today, plus a few more favorite poncho sweaters that I think are worth trying out.

Also, don’t forget that tomorrow is Election Day, so get out there and vote!
